The grilled dessert doughnuts are to die for definitely don't skip over them. They do need to figure out a practical way to... grill them without sticking to the paper though. My personal preference would also be for the grilled cheese sandwiches to be alittle more grilled but overall delicious and perfect on a cold rainy day. Read more
I really used to love this place.. but my visit from today was a little rocky to say the least. On top of the restaurant opening... 18 minutes late, I went to get diet Mt Dew from the pop machine and 3 flies came out with the fountain drink into my cup... I bought the Mac and cheese sandwich with a cup of tomato soup and drink for 13.94 before tax. The second picture is s?mores... sandwich which was 5.95. I know at this point, you are thinking ? that?s kinda high? but trust me, it wasn?t just any grilledcheese. It was like the god of the grilled cheese family himself and making these. I loved everything from the restaurant vibeto the drink choices. I am not sure what I was expecting from putting Mac and cheese on a grilled cheese but this sandwich wasamazing. I plan to come back next time I visit the aquarium to try another sandwich. I totally recommend this place if you wantgood food for a overall good price. I love the comfort of this place. Whether you just want a plain grilled cheese sandwich of a bougie one, it's here. If you like... salty sweet there's always their grilled cheese doughnut (yes you read that right). My go to is the turkey, pesto, and cheese.It's perfection and filling. I also do not care for tomato soup, or any type of tomato drink, but their tomato cream and basilsoup is what dreams are made of. I could eat a gallon of it! It's smooth, delicious and just the perfect amount of flavoring todip your sandwich in or just eat plain! This is a smaller location, but has some extended tables for groups of more than 4.
