The Blue Pear is a quaint, lovely little bistro housed in an historic Chester County gem. Food is excellent and waitstaff is... attentive. The owner Jim is committed to providing quality food and service. He makes his rounds in the evening and greetseveryone warmly- seems to know many patrons personally. Exceptional mix of old favorites, regularly refreshed menu updates, and specials, and prepared with the highest of quality. ... Very personable, knowledgeable, and efficient staff. Pay particular attention to holiday long weekends, there are usuallyseveral lobster specials (the Lobster Cobb Salad and Lobster Roll are to die for!), as well as a whole roasted pork, where thechef is very accommodating to requests for special cuts.
