The most expensive diner prices I've ever come across. This place has gone downhill since it opened years ago. The food quality... isn't great (which you don't expect with a diner) but the prices are for a much higher quality restaurant. They charge $3 forfries instead of chips, which would be fine except the sandwhich or burger with chips is already $14+ in a lot of cases. We hadto keep asking for things that were supposed to be already included with our meal (sides, kids meal ice cream, soup for aspecial, etc). Will not be going back here again. Read more
Don't let the outside fool you. We almost didn't go it as it looks worn outside. However when you open the door you walk... into classic American diner. Bright and cheery. But let's get to the main course, breakfast. We both ordered the ramspecial- 2 egg, hashbrowns, meat and either pancakes or French toast. Let me start out with the pancakes and French toast-just wow. Both were delicious. We tried each others and we were both impressed. The hashbrowns were great and not thetypical half cooked variety. Eggs were cooked the way we want and seemed like fresh eggs not the liquid swill most places seemto try to pass off as eggs. The bacon was perfect and the sausage was the fat links not the little skinny ones. Overall wewere impressed with both meals. And the service was very good also. Very pleasant. On Labor Day, we stopped here coming back home from MD. Looked to be only one waitress and she was great considering the diner... was 90% full. My gyro was very good and my son had blueberry pancakes/bacon/eggs. So very understandable wait for the food giventhe circumstances. Read more
Service is fast and you get a lot of food for a good price. I had a croissant breakfast sandwich with American cheese, eggs, and... bacon served with homefries and my brother got breakfast burritos, half of which he had to take home. I love the classic dinerfeel and general atmosphere of this place. It seems as if they get a lot of regulars from in town but newcomers are alsowelcome. This was only my second time here and I had breakfast both visits so it would be interesting to see their lunch menu. Read more
