I spotted this lovely exterior of this house from the Falmouth Market, right across the street. They have an ice cream shop to... the left, I have been to the ice cream shop a couple of times, but I believe the cafe is still kind of new, as I never noticedit before when I visited the ice cream shop in the past. The ice cream shop and cafe share the small dining room. They havenice, comfortable booth seating, with lots of memorabilia everywhere. It is very cozy and homey. The cafe is to the left of thedining room, and the menu is neatly written on the large blackboard. They serve breakfast and lunch, and the menu withdescription is all there. They have a water tank there if you want water instead of coffee, or in addition to whatever you aredrinking. I always appreciate a place where they offer free water that is easily accessible. We ordered Sweet Potato Hash andFrench Toast for breakfast. The portion of the sweet potato hash was pretty big, with lots of fresh arugula. The sausage pattieswere good size too, although it was nothing really special, but nice and comforting. French toast was much smaller in portion,and didn't look like Portuguese sweet bread as described... Overall, it was tasty but not amazing. We did like the cute littlecozy cafe. The food is not amazing or incredible, but comforting and affordable. I liked the atmosphere more than anything else.They don?t have a big breakfast menu, but have the basics and I can see the ingredients are fresh. If you're in the Falmouth area this tucked away place is worth a stop. We weren't sure to expect but my husband and I were both... pleasantly surprised with both atmosphere and appetite satisfying food. I got the sweet potato has which was perfectly portionedand had an amazing balance of flavor. If you order your egg a little runny the yolk coats the rest of the dish in goldendeliciousness as you eat. Hubby said the breakfast burrito was the best he's had. Of course it wouldn't be breakfast withoutstellar coffee. As we sipped and enjoyed every bit of the coffee we also admired the work this place put into the outdoorseating. Read more
