Unusual and varied menu! Really unique combinations of "Good old fashioned Comfort Food". Everything from Grilled Cheese... Sandwiches to every combination of Mac & Cheese you can think of. Corn dogs on top of a bowl of Mac and Cheese would not haveoccurred to me! Seriously, if it can be made with, or out of Cheese you will probably find it here! I don't know if there aremultiple locations, but this one is exceptionally clean, and well maintained. Staff is helpful and friendly. Food was preparedquickly. Read more
I went for the very first time today. I had the Buffalo Mac & Cheese without blue cheese. It was terrific. My only suggestion,... which is nit picking, is that they cut the green onions/scallions into little disc vs .5-1 inch pieces that they currentlydo. But staff was great, friendly. Restaurant very clean and orderly. Menu board is a bit overwhelming but staff was patient and gave us plenty of time to make our... choices. Prices seemed reasonable based on the description of the menu board but not compared to what actually arrived at ourtable. My burger was supposed to be a BBQ Mac burger, burger between two pieces of Texas toast with Mac & cheese, pulled porkand crispy grilled onions with a side of ripple chips and french onion dip. My meal arrived in a timely manner and lookeddelicious, however looks were deceiving. I would have to say this was the most tasteless burger I have ever encountered. The macand cheese was over cooked, mushy and flavorless, what little pulled pork that was on the burger was dry and not much flavor,there were no crispy grilled onions on my burger to my knowledge, the ripple chips were almost non-existent and what littlepieces of chips that were on my plate were not big enough to even dip in the French onion dip. My wife's burger was even moredisappointing, was supposed to come with Nacho Cheese Doritos but didn't. We left feeling completely disappointed and stillhungry. After seeing a Facebook post of a morning TV live cooking event from my 1st cousin which featured her son cooking for the hosts,... I had to try this place. Anything that combines bbq meat and cheese has got to be good... The building and atmosphere weregreat...modern, clean, vibrant - with a little country music playing in the background. You order at the counter, then take anumber and they deliver it to your table. I loved the presentation - a heavy cast iron skillet preloaded with a real metalfork...ready to be enjoyed. Per her son Parker's recommendation, I ordered the BBQ Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese with CarolinaReaper cheese added - the 'Parker Special'. Boy was it delicious - moist, flavorful pulled pork, tangy bbq sauce, creamycheese...and a little bite from the Carolina Reaper cheese! I highly recommend this restaurant and this dish and can't wait toreturn to try some other options. Went here with my husband on a random Saturday night, just to try something new and IT DEFINITELY PAID OFF. The food is hearty,... fresh and delicious ? just like mac'n'cheese ought to be. The staff is VERY friendly, polite and the personnel that we met wereeven so nice as to give us two pieces of cheesecake instead of one ????????
