We just had our 40th class reunion in the Barrell Room of New Park Brewing. What a great spot. As you walk down this aged wooden... hallway you get the feel of entering an old time Speakeasy. A kind of clandestine hideaway that abuts a room filled withstainless steel fermentation tanks, divided by giant windows. A great bar with a dozen or so taps built in behind. A perfectspot for our gathering. Full bar available and plenty of food options to choose from made it a very memorable night for ourcrew. Read more

We’re still on cloud nine, basking in the glow of the fabulous birthday/anniversary party we recently held in the Barrel Room... at New Park Brewing. We continue to get raves and compliments about the day from family and friends, some of whom, literally,said it was the best party they ever attended. TJ and his wonderful staff at NPB were a pleasure to work with, and you will notbelieve how gorgeous the Barrel Room is. Our photos are so much lovelier because every shot we took in the room has a beautifulbackground. We were beyond satisfied with the food, which we chose from the catering menu -- chicken, salmon, and short ribs --absolutely delicious. The beer and wine option we chose was perfect, and the service was outstanding. My husband and I werethrilled with the party, and we cannot thank TJ enough for making the day so special. He was extremely helpful and nice, and soeasy to work with all along the way. Staff members Christine and Rebecca were terrific. And the CT Provisions chef is amazing.Everything was just superb, and not only will we be back, we’ll highly recommend New Park Brewing's Barrel Room to others. Best brewery in greater Hartford area, and I don't think it's close. Beer lineup is diverse and rarely disappoints. Chill... location with great pizza, outdoor seating, and occasional events. And everyone that works there is knowledgeable + friendly. Read more

We just had our wedding reception at the new Barrel Room at New Park Brewing. The event and service exceeded our... expectations. We received a number of compliments such as, “these are the best apps we’ve ever had at a wedding”. Prettygood considering the beer is typically what brings people to New Park. We opted for the pizza and salad spread as our mainentree as well. The pizza was top tier and matched the exact atmosphere we were looking to create for our wedding. I’m surethe traditional entrees are stellar - but who doesn’t love a good pizza party? That was our favorite decision of the entirewedding planning process. TJ and his staff were incredibly accommodating and efficient. We had 70 people in the room which feltlike a good balance of intimacy and but still enough room to mingle and dance when the dance floor opened. I wouldn’t try tofit too many more. This was the first and only venue we toured. We knew it was the spot for us the moment we walked in. I hopeyou consider it for your wedding or event. Read more

We love New Park’s beer, and decided to use their Barrell Room for our wedding rehearsal dinner. Holy cow - it was... awesome! TJ was great to work with in planning the event. They had a ton of great food options including salads, pizza, wings,etc. Plus multiple New Park beers on tap and a full bar. And they were accommodating for our guests with dietaryrestrictions. We hosted 20 people in the Barrel Room and had plenty of space, we could have fit 40 comfortably. The food wasjust awesome too, lots of great pizza and the wings and charcuterie were excellent. The servers and bartenders were fun, we wereable to play music through spotify, and New Park’s projector came in handy for a slideshow we had running throughout theevening. The room was perfect for our group of about 20 and we were able to add a few decorations of our own (though the room isperfect as is too!). We’re big fans of the Barrel Room, New Park, and TJ, and highly recommend it to anyone planning a smallevent! Read more
