The dude had delivered my food, I seen him sit in the car for 5 minutes straight. Mind you, it?s already been an hour since I... called, they said 45 minutes. He eventually gave me my food & asked if I wanted him to put a tip on the card. I said no, if ihad cash, I always give a cash tip. I don?t do tips on my card. He got mad & walked away. He took It upon himself to add a tip!!First of all, you don?t ask for a tip!!! If it?s given to you, it?s given to you. Let me be clear: their wings are THE BEST. Very good, plenty of flavors. Prices could be better but ill pay for good... food. Boyfriend and I ordered two medium side combos tonight. To make a long story short dude didnt reiterate the total, justtook the card and handed my boyfriend the wrong food. They staple the bag so we didnt bust it. Get home and realize they gaveus the wrong order. I called, no issues, just hoping they will compensate for the mistake and deliver us the right wings. Heinsinuates he gave us the right order, then proceeds to ask why we didnt say anything and how didnt we notice. Its therestaurants job to get it right FIRST. We made a mistake by not checking, but again bag is stapled. You don?t question acustomer for restaurant error. He said he was gonna have to charge us the difference, which i dont agree with but I get it,thats the price we wouldve paid. I asked if their was something they could take off due to the major inconvenience. Get in thehouse and get cozy, open your food and its the wrong s*** you know? But nope. He said yeah no. LOL. Then he said he will give ustwo sodas. He also requested the food back, which i thought was odd. Not that we wanted to keep (didnt like the wing flavors)but i hope they arent planning on giving those to the other customer who is now missing their food, considering we opened thecontainers. I feel thats unsanitary. Overall, banging wings no doubt about it. Theyre quick and delicious but they have to workon customer service. Too comfortable with being neighborhood fav. Wrong is still wrong and you should not question a customer onwhy they didnt do YOUR job for you. Also don?t be cheap. Compensate when you mess up. Wow! I recently moved to West Haven and I went by Southern Wings Express a few minutes ago (7/27/2022) to get wings because I... had driven by it and thought I would try it. I got garlic parmesan chicken with a side of potato salad, and classic nachos. Itwas utterly disgusting!! I had to trash the bag of food because it was not fit for consumption. The food is an insult toSouthern people, and so is the name of the place. I am Jamaican and I know about good cooking and what well-cooked food issupposed to taste like. Nastiest food ever!!!!! I love their honey mustard traditional wings sometime they do the drums to hard but the boneless be the best.

I would leave ZERO if I could!...first I didn't get the two water bottles I ordered and when I called the guy told me I didn't... order it when I know I did cause he repeated it back to me and then he lied and said he didn't... whatever...The food washorrible the nachos were over cooked couldn't even eat it..the steak cheese was not good at all and the meat tasted old...thefish was gross with the over cooked french fries...Never will I order again wasted $40 on food that we didn't eat and threw out????
