Cavatina is a hidden oasis in the Sunset Marquis luxury hotel. They offer a few vegan items. I ordered the Parsnip & Pear soup... which is very artsy, but too sweet and not balanced (needs an acidic element). It’s also on the pricey side- $17 I’d like togo back to try the veggie cheese burger and plant-based gelato! ????Excellent Service!! ???? Food was good but as a tasting menu the portions were very big and very quick.
The ambiance is romantic and vibey. It feels like walking into a rain forest. I went for Sunday Brunch with 2 friends. ALL of... our orders missed the mark. The service was GREAT but the food was bad & expensive. My salmon was extremely small and notfilling (although it was tasty), my friends' scrabbled eggs were cold and dry, my other friends' acai bowl was cold and hadlumps.. she sent that back and ordered pancakes instead. The pancakes weren't good either.. she gave me the rest of hers since Ididn't get remotely full from the salmon. Didn't get to eat the food as the mandatory thanksgiving dinner was forced up on us. We thought there was another menu available... and they said it was hotel guests only. It was not mentioned on OpenTable and we wasted $18 on an Uber ride. Looking at the menuthough, I think there are a lot of similar restaurants in hotels around Beverly Hills. Read more
