The portions are enormous. The one thing I can say is you do get a lot for your money. But for as large a restaurant as it is,... there is NO staff. I felt bad for our server who was taking care of the entire restaurant and bar. So it is not a stretch tosay service was slow but not to be expected with one server. The food was ok at best ci ordered the chicken avocado club andthe chicken was super dry. The bacon was amazing and the fries were exceptional too. Their food is good but a little over the bar! One of the nice fancy places in the PMU.
Went on a Saturday evening and we were immediately greeted by a young lady who informed us that they were under staffed (most... establishments are) But she was very friendly and helpful. We didn't even wait that long and the bartender was helping us aswell. Food was hot and fresh and very tasty. My husband loves Walk Ons, being from Morgan city Louisiana himself so he was veryexcited to see one in Indiana! Establishment was clean and our overall experience at this establishment was great. Restaurant had three seated tables with one waiter. The kitchen had about four people in it?reportedly some were in training.... Waiter was painfully slow. We had to ask for our soup to come out a second time. Then three of our Zedyco salads came out withchicken instead of shrimp. Waited several minutes for sever to come back out and bring ketchup for our table mate. I finally gotup and found ketchup and returned it to our table. A few minutes later another table also got up to get their own condiments,too. I finally walked into the kitchen entry since the waiter had yet to reappear?. There were about five staff members in agroup together in the middle of the kitchen. One asked what I wanted, and I said that our order was incorrect, explained themistake, and returned to my table. After about ten minutes a petite, blonde teammate brought out three bowls of shrimp and wasexceptionally rude saying that they were shorted staffed and had been working since 10 AM; it was 7 PM?. (Working 9-10 hourdays at 20 years of age shouldn?t be an excuse for rudeness. Needless to say, our experience doesn?t make us want to return. I?ve been to this location twice in the past year (which is pertinent because in my understanding, there was a change in... management) and got food poisoning both times. The first time, I remember the service being really great and attentive, but thatwas not my most recent experience. We had a party of 6 and was told it would be a 50-60 minute wait. We put down our name andleft, only to be notified 10 minutes later that our table was ready. We were sat and waited 15 minutes before I grabbed a memberof the waitstaff. We were then informed that they were operating on a very limited menu and didn?t have a majority of the thingsthat we were looking to order. Once we ordered, we waited about an hour for our food to come only for them to screw up one ofour orders and it took another 20 minutes for them to come back with it. I tried going back this second time with an open-mindand the hope that I wasn?t going to get food poisoning. 24 hours later, I was mistaken. Definitely will not be going back. Read more
