Menu for Southland Casino Hotel in West Memphis, AK

On 10/29/22 me and my husband drove 4 hour to Memphis. Check in at 4 our room wasn't ready. Then they said they will call us.... 7pm comes around I fo back they say we will give you 3o% off and the room still wasn't ready. I ask to speak to a manager andthey said they will send a manager over to talk to me. Manager never came. 8 I told them 30% not enough. Then 8:40 somethingcome around. I told them to cancel my reservation and me and my husband have to drive back 4 hour. They ruin our trip and wasnot trying to give a reasonable accommodation for it. Not to mention while we waited eat at the kitchen for twice that was like$111. Then 2 drinks at the bar it was like $27 while we waited. And they talking about 30%. The manager never came over to talkto me or call me when she got. Back down like they said she would. I will never book there again. I probably will never got tothe casino there because of it. The new addition to the casino is very nice and well kept. The greyhound racing area is run down and should be an attraction but... you can tell they have not run it correctly. The buffet is very average and still have to pay for your drinks. We did stay thenight in the hotel and booked a 5 person room. We expected 2 beds and a couch. The hotel staff was ZERO help when we quested thetwo bed they stated ? well you should have know with just two beds?. Would not stay here again. Read more

Loved the room, just unreservedly temp from 52 to 80, it's why I live in the South I love being warm. Only negative as a... single female the connecting room door didn't have a lock, it was just no handle on other side.. just made me feel a bituncomfortable. Loved the rain shower or use a bar to relax back... very nice and security of not being able to get in elevatorwithout room key plus only works for floor you room is on. Read more

Had a great time! The hotel is new and very well appointed. Rooms are spacious. Beds are comfortable. Shower is luxurious. Hot... water is hot. Hit the Fry Shop (or whatever it's called). The whole wings are the best, no cap! The lucky dust on the wings andfries is a must. Fried shrimp was good. Sweet potato hush puppies were a surprise hit, as was the cole slaw. And, the funnelcake is good too. All said, 8.5 out of 10 on the food. 10/10 on the accommodations. 1/10 on the casino since I didn't get rich????. We stayed Sept 16th. I was super impressed with everything at this casino! We didn't go to the track, tho. The rooms are very... spacious, everything was clean and linens were plentiful. The casino is so nice. In the sport book area, smoking isallowed....But the main casino is smoke free. We ate at the sports bar as well as the buffet. Both were AWESOME! All staff weinteracted with was super friendly. We had a great weekend for a terrific price! Read more
