First I?ve been in the mood for pupusas forever ! So i decided to order from here. First I went on the website and it had the... option to order online so I put my order in the cart and it totaled to $33 but it was askin for my Visa card and I was payingcash so I decided just to call my order in. How did it come out to $37 when I called. It made no sense ?!? Anyways I was coolpaying it cause I was in the mood. We ordered the grilled chicken w. Shrimp with tostones and rice as the sides. They give youlike 4 little shrimp. I ordered one order of frijoles y queso pupusas which comes with 3 pupusas. The worst pupusas I?ve EVERHAD ! The frijoles had no flavor and the masa was hard. Horrible!!! And we orders two shakes . Mango and trigo. These shakeswere hot and had no sort of ice. It was so watery . And not even filled up. So my boyfriend goes inside to pick up the order .He?s a light skinned Brazilian and when he walked in not one of the employees asked him he if he needed help . He said they wereall just standing there not even busy and didn?t even ask if he needed anything . He stood there for a while till he got servicefrom someone the food was just sitting there . The MOST DISCUSTING horrific terrible. The food is OLD, the service is the "worst" grumpy unprofessional servers. I "refused" to... eat the food, the steak smelled like a rat and looked like a cooked animal of some kind( probably a cat). This place needs toget investigated by the health department. No wonder it is so "empty" on a busy Saturday on Bergenline Ave. The unprofessionalmanner with no "response" from the staff. I 'never; leave a bad review, the food was returned uneaten because it was discustingand there were others ( 3) who returned their food. Don't be a victim of this place! to the owner...Shame on you! I have been coming here for 10 years and unfortunately the food and service has went down the drain. Service wasn?t that great.... The second we came in it states ?wait to be seated? the waiter didn?t even wait for my whole part which was 5 and only assumedthere was 3. We waited a good 5 minutes before they even came back so I could ask for another menu. The high chairs weredisgusting and sticky. The pupusas weren?t even that great.
