My husband and I loved our stay at Lambert?s Inn! We booked our stay in a rush after having a horrible experience with a hotel... in Edgartown? Thankfully, the friendly staff were accommodating and booked us a room for two nights on the spot! We wereincredibly grateful that we changed hotels because this B+B was WONDERFUL! We enjoyed our mini moon for 3 days exploring thevineyard coming back to this precious inn every night. Our room had an extremely comfortable king sized bed with a sweet view ofthe grounds. Breakfast each morning was tasty and very relaxed. It was incredibly peaceful to escape the busy towns on theisland and retreat back to our quiet adorable inn such as Lambert?s! We could not have enjoyed our stay more! We also lovedwalking the grounds to meet the alpacas, chickens and inn keeper?s sweet dog, Pearl! We truly loved our stay and could notpraise this inn more! We stayed at Lambert's Cove Inn over fourth of July weekend and it was exceptional. The staff was attentive and the entire... estate is really well maintained. The hotel lends bikes to ride to the private Lambert's Cove where the long soft sand beachesare pristine. We also did the short work to Ice House Pond and it was personally one of my favorite spots on the island. Wedidnt eat at the restaurant but it smelled delicious and we had heard from other guests/locals that it was very good. Thecomplimentary breakfast hit the spot. There is a game room and beer/wine bar. The pool was great but jacuzzi under maintenance.Dont forget to visit the Alpacas and the garden! Worth the price and already planning a return trip in early fall. Check itout! *Location Note: it is a bit far away from Oak Bluff but only about 15-20 min from Vineyard haven. The Lambert's Cove Inn is a hidden gem on Martha's Vineyard. The restaurant, run by executive chef Galen Sampson, is top-notch... with delicious, locally sourced meals and an excellent wine list. The rooms are charming and comfortable. The surroundingscannot be beat for scenery or relaxation on the Island. And the staff is generous and kind. We have eaten there many times andloved it so much that we had our wedding there, which could not have been any better. Do yourself a treat and book a long stayat this magnificent property. The Inn is under new management since spring 2022. A few previous reviews mentioning inattentivestaff or rundown rooms are out of date. Had the most wonderful & warmest experience staying at Lambert's Cove Inn & Resort! Bridgette & Galen were very sweet and made... us feel right at home. There are 4 adorable Alpacas at the resort, Pearl their pretty Border Collie is the ultimate sport & sheloves to be loved! The Inn is located at a more secluded part of the island, away from the busy beach towns. This is a perfectgetaway for anyone hoping to get some natural Bhuta Shuddhi (cleansing) in the quiet of the forests and a pretty privateLambert's Cove beach. One can literally hear nothing but the forests at any given time of the day. It is a lovely resort, greatfor a private wedding party. We were able to Uber around most of the time as it was off-season so most of the moped serviceswere yet to start for the summer. The resort also has bikes that one could bike around on to most of the scenic places nearby -Ice House Pond, Grey Barn Farm - the most picturesque bike ride passing through idyllic open fields & farms. We had breakfastat the Inn with fresh farm-to-table yogurt, granola and baked items with some good coffee. Galen was kind enough to prepare somereally good omelette and frittata, he is a great chef - cannot wait for their restaurant to open which will be headed byGalen! The other staff members were courteous and service was top-notch! We are surely making our way back very soon.
