Friendly staff and the interior is very pretty! You can buy paintings and the flowers are real. We tried the London Fog and... Caramel Macchiato which are both really good! Beans and Teas are locally sourced! They also offer high tea! Read more

we wanted to see why CCViolin is good. we already went to Small Victory, FDL, St Germain, MonParis Patisserie, Cup n Bun, and... even Superstore & TnT, etc. we bought hot chocolate and croissants because we wanted to compare them to all cafe and bakeriesthat we have went to prior. the hot chocolate is not the best that i have tasted. the hot chocolate cup we have is just theusual, bland, and hot rich chocolate. we do see some chocolate at the bottom of the cup but doesn't taste like the rich cocoa aswell. croissant was actually stale and hard. so it was not pleasant to eat because the staff said they will heat it up butprobably forgot to do that when we were told to sit down. so me and my husband might not come back here for hot chocolate andthe croissant. staff was very friendly and knowledgeable on what to do but did forget to do what he suggested to do (heat upcroissant). in any case, we might try the macaroons or small cakes since it might be their specialty. The ambiance is very verygood. paintings, jewelry, and other stuff is also being sold here. but for me i think they have a really good decor and brightlight, but the food isn't really the best. good for long stay and just being inspired to do your work. I ordered the leek and cheese Danish (this was very very good), the thing that looks like a cinnamon bun but isn't (not good at... all. It was dry old and terrible despite the lady saying everything is made fresh which Isnt true), we ordered a quiche whichlacked flavor it was very little egg and all spinach and mushroom with no seasoning but we ate it cold so maybe it's better whenit's hot I'm not sure. Lastly we ordered the dessert with the peach half on top this was good I have no complaints aboutthis. The lady at the counter wasn't friendly. The place itself is lovely and the ambience is great but just make sure youdon't order their old baked goods. I was really sad about the dry cinnamon bun thing. It was hard as a rock and dry as theSahara dessert. The caramel machiato was the drink I ordered. The design was beautiful, the coffee lacked flavor it wasn'tstrong despite the 2 espresso shots? I'm not sure why they're rated so high. Read more

So surprised to find such an excellent patisserie and café in West Vancouver! Once stepping in, I felt like being somewhere in... Paris - blonde haired ladies and decently dressed gentlemen were chatting softly and joyfully; paintings from local artists werehanging on one side of the wall and a violin, on the other; a high wooden bookshelf filled with books was standing at theentrance; a long bar table accompanied with high chairs was against the glass entrance wall, . . . Most importantly, the cakesand the coffee they made were fantastic! I had a hot cup of coffee with a creamy heart shape, so appealing and romantic! I had asausage roll, so crispy and tasty! And I had an avocado egg croissant, so rich and aromatic! All were real patisserie, trueFrench styled desserts! Owned by a friendly and courteous couple, this café is a gem in the heart of Marine Drive businesscentre of West Vancouver. Read more
