Awful awful service. It took 20 minutes to be greeted by a server, then a simple appetizer took over 30 minutes to arrive. We... decided to cut our losses at that point and cash out early Read more
6 of us came here for dinner tonight. The experience was awful from beginning to end. We had called ahead and made a... reservation, they were not busy but had us waiting for quite some time while they ?set up a table for us?. Then, when the tablewas ready, the lazy hostess walked half way to the deck and then stopped, and pointed then instructed ?it?s the table at thevery end? instead of walking us to the table. We sat there for at least 10 minutes without ever being greeted by a server. I hadto approach a busser who was clearing another table to ask him to send a server over to us. She took our drink orders, then hadus waiting another 10-15 minutes before coming back to the table before we were finally given the opportunity to order. Four ofthe entrees came and my husband and myself sat there watching the rest of the table finish their meals before we were givenours. When we finished, the waitress asked if we wanted to order anything else, we said no and asked for boxes. She took another15 minutes to come back to us, empty handed and we had to ask her for our checks. At that point we just handed her our cards,which seemed to be a wise decision because she took a long time (surprise, surprise) to return to the table. All while this washappening, we watched a table be sat next to us at minimum, 20 minutes after we were sat. They were walked to their table,greeted immediately, received their food before my husband and myself, and checked on frequently. Completely unacceptableservice. Sat for over 20 minutes with no service or attention at all. Three bartenders, only 2 customers at the bar, only one other... table occupied. After coming to Waters Edge for 27 years, this is the worst service (or total lack of) we have had. Read more
