Long line wanted a beer after a long hike. Went to bartender to ask for a couple beers while we waited. She refused and told me... to wait for server. Would have got 2 beers one at the bar and one at the table. Too bad I bought less and didn't feel like Iwas a wanted customer. Won't go back to this place if I don't have too. Very popular place, finally managed to get in on a Sunday afternoon to watch the Broncos. Staff were great and even turned the... music off so we could hear the game. We had a great shrimp cocktail (sauce heavy on horseradish), Artichoke and Spanish dipgood, (bread points could be better) great beer, and a yummy cocktail. Read more
I have given Bootleggers a 5 Star in the past but not anymore. The last couple of times I have been in the staff has been... incredibly rude. This last time I asked about getting an order to go. I was basically told to wait in line like everyone else inthe restaurant and to sit down and wait. I sat down and the server proceeded to wait on everyone around me including those whocame in after me. I don't mind waiting like everyone else, but the reason I asked about to go was because I had dogs in my carand didn't want to leave them unattended for too long, not because I was expecting preferential treatment. I left, I am just notgoing to pay someone to be rude to me and then ignore me. I thought this place was better than that. Sadly, no more. Read more
The best artisan sandwiches I've ever had...period. from s.f. bay area and park city utah. Gourmet food is no stranger to me but... I'd never had guessed that little town had a selection and uniqueness as they do. Great staff, good drinks...amazing love putinto their food....get there!! Read more

We lucked out to happen up on this great little bistro as we passed through Westcliffe recently. A great, varied menu coupled... with solid beer offerings (and a 21oz glass option!) really impressed us. We dined here for lunch on a beautiful autumn day andenjoyed sitting at one of their outside tables on the sidewalk. We're still covid-cautious so having this outdoor seating optionwas great.
