Now when I say I love Thai food, I mean I LOVE Thai food. I'm in town visiting my family and we decided to try Nam Khong based... on previous reviews and a menu starring all of my fans. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint!!! The portions were excellent.The pad Thai was the best I've ever had in my life! The Tom Yum soup was phenomenal with just the right lemongrass spice combo.The red curry was fresh, sweet and tangy. The fried rice was perfection and the sauce for the spring rolls were just what weneeded in our lives. We got our food to go, but 15 minutes later it was still hot and perfectly cooked. Love stopping here when we are in town, the food is authentic Loation and Thai and the ladies in the kitchen make everything... good. Pete, the owner and host, is a cool guy. Our favorites are the duck soup, honey duck, pho soups, crab Rangoon, brusslesprouts, noodle dishes, and Thai/Green teas. Read more
?????????? Fresh Authentic Thai Food. If you have ever had a friend who?s family was from the Far East and been invited over for... a meal this is what the food is like. Nothing here is made ahead of time everything is chopped and cooked to order. There were alot of takeout orders picked up when we were there. The dinning area is sparse but clean. Would not recommend. Our take-out order consisted of the red curry, pad thai, and Laotian style crispy rolls. The red curry was... ordered with tofu and consisted of ONLY tofu in curry base (sans vegetables). The pad thai was a congealed block of noodles withtofu (noodles were either old or exceptionally over cooked) without much flavour. Reason for 2 stars was that the Laotian stylecrispy rolls were decent, however not enough to save the meal. Massively disappointing experience all told. Read more
