Me and my husband celebrated our 4 year anniversary with the wonderful staff here on 8/18/22. First off everyone is extremely... nice the GM was there and she was running around doing everything she could to support her staff which I find amazing. and ourwaitress was amazing and attentive she made the experience even better. We ordered lots of food and everything was delicious. Iwould do unspeakably filthy things for their bread pudding dessert. My husband had the Pork Chops with peach salsa one a cheesygrit cake that was so good! The peach salsa was fresh with big slices of peachy goodness and the chops were so juicy and pairedso well with the grits. My mouth is watering at the thought of this food. I had the brisket and veggies for the side I cannotdescribe how good the brisket was, but it was the best I've ever had. The chef Sam came out and checked on us making sure we hada good experience and if i could sum her up all I would say is "Chef Genius!" We were so full of amazing food that when we gothome we slipped into a happy food coma. We didnt even have left overs to enjoy it was so good we just couldnt stop eating. Update! Amanda invited us back for dinner tonight, and what a difference!! We had a fabulous experience. Amanda is so... personable; it's like talking to a friend. All of our food was cooked as expected, and tasted delicious. The pineapple cider wasperfect for summer. The sirloin was fantastic, as well as the burger and kids meals. The staff was friendly and helpful, whichis great to find in a restaurant. There was live music on the patio this evening, which was a fun addition. I am updating myreview to 5 stars! Thank you to Amanda, and our server Kate, for a wonderful dining experience!!! First Review: This wasprobably one of the most disappointing restaurant visits we've had in a long time. There were four tables in the restaurant. Wewere seated at a table that still had crumbs on it. We ordered the hush puppy appetizer. The breading was very brown and tastedburnt. We were told by the waitress that it's always that brown. My husband ordered a rack of ribs and they were ice cold. Mychildren ordered chicken tenders, but they were actually cut like nuggets, and were very brown; some were almost black. Thefries are heavily seasoned, just a heads up for moms with kids that may not enjoy that. My chicken and grits plate was good. Oneof the cooks was eating behind the line while cooking, and the manager addressed it. When we asked if the fried food is alwaysso dark brown, at the end of the meal, the waitress told us that next time, we should just ask to have our food cooked notbrown/crispy. (So, yes, the fried food is always just short of burnt). I cannot say how disappointed we were with the quality ofour evening. We have never been before, and will not be returning. Read more

Ok, and better if you choose better. I ordered the brisket with a side of Mac and cheese and it was a little underwhelming,... especially for the price. The spicy chipotle bbq sauce is nice though.
