Fabulous service and good food with an unexpectedly lovely view of Lake Erie. My chicken BBQ sandwich was delicious. Husband was... disappointed with the texture of his brisket sandwich and said it was tasty but a bit tough/chewey. Read more

Arrived here tired, thirsty and hungry after 7 hours on the road. Perfect opportunity for some comfort food. We entered and a... sign said the hostess would seat us. No hostess in sight but we asked a waitress said offhand "Sit anywhere, I'll bring you somemenus." After twenty minutes of no menus (even after catching the eye of several waitstaff) my girlfriend went to the bar andasked for menus and a server. Keep in mind this was not a busy night with double digit open tables and easily a half dozenservers about. Our server finally arrived and took our order, a meal for two that included smoked kielbasa, brisket, mac andcheese, corn, cornbread and sweet potato fries tossed in cinnamon sugar. I ordered a tall bud light (which the waiter assured methey had and I saw pints on other tables) and my girlfriend ordered a blue moon and a diet coke. I asked if we could get burntends for the brisket and was told they weren't available. Our drinks arrived fairly promptly, in 12 oz plastic cups though mygirlfriend's soda was in a tall glass. The food arrived a bit later. Having already drank my small beer I ordered another. Wehad to remind the waiter at this point that we needed silverware and table settings. That took five minutes and he also broughtsalt, pepper, bbq, ketchup and a roll of paper towel in a questionable looking plastic-lined bucket. By now nothing was veryhot. The cornbread was not warm enough to melt butter. The mac and cheese came in a ceramic bowl with melted cheese on top andwas fairly average, maybe some crackers mixed in. The sweet potato fries were cooked well but the cinnamon sugar was sparse atbest. The kielbasa tasted fairly off the shelf and the brisket was a very scant portion and more of a thick cut bacon, bland andslightly dry. I had no drink with my meal, luckily my girlfriend ordered the soda. The food was overall extremelyaverage. Later as we were finishing up the waiter showed up asking if we needed anything and said "Oh, I put Read more

Stopped here after a trip to North East Pennsylvania on our way back to Buffalo. Did a random map search and decided to give... this place a try. The smell from the smoker was enticing as soon as we got out of the truck. Amazing location on the beautifulshores of Lake Erie. Walked in on a Saturday around 430 and we were seated immediately. Everyone was out on the back deckenjoying the view and a beautiful summer afternoon. Biker-bar low-key vibe, but very comfortable for the two of us plus our8-month-old. We ordered a big plate to share and it came out quickly with very friendly service. Smoked turkey was amazing- alsohad some great brisket and pulled pork. Sauce had a great sweet but spicy flavor, smoke from the pit was SPOT ON. Sides werehuge and delicious- creamy Cole slaw, amazing sweet potato fries, cornbread, and baked beans. We had like 5 pounds of foodleftover to take home and enjoy for the rest of the weekend and a nice walk on the beach before we packed it home to Buffalo. Will definitely be stopping back next time we?re in the area.
