The only reason I am giving 2 stars and not 1 is because the food was good. I?m sitting here writing this review at 8:38 as I... finish my meal (at home) that I was forced to box up and take to go when I was 3 bites in. I came in with my parents at 8:05 weordered 5 things, food came to our table at 8:20 (one of the entrees was wrong btw, but the sweet girl who took our order made amistake- we said no problem). We are literally a few bites in when the other server, a blonde girl, comes to our table and asksus if we need boxes. Why would we need boxes? We literally just got our food? I said no thank you we?re still eating. It?s now8:29 and she shuts half the lights off in the restaurant to boot us out. Then she starts sweeping up dirt next to our table ASWE ARE EATING. Next thing you know it?s 8:32 and she brings boxes to our table and tells us we have to go because she has tolock up the restaurant for security purposes, to which my dad responds ?no problem you can lock up?. She tells us we can?t be inthe restaurant while she counts the money. Why not just let us finish our meal and we will be on our way? In what world would arestaurant owner be okay with their staff kicking out patrons 5 minutes after they received their food? There were 2 otherparties in the restaurant mind you, and she seemed to only be concerned with us. So incredibly rude. This girl should not have ajob in the service industry. We are regulars of natural cafe as we live across the street and are walking distance. I will besure to talk to the manager in person about this next time and make sure the issue is addressed. This is not acceptable and Iwon?t feel comfortable giving business to a place that treats customers this way. Long story short, we boxed our entire meal upand I was home by 8:38 to resume my dinner. The salads are pretty good. The corn bread is addicting. Lots of great options for everybody on the menu.
