Walked in for dinner with a party of six. They were able to seat us. It was a week night. I enjoyed a cocktail. I also tried... their soup of the day which was a cream of mushroom. It was excellent. I also tried the Duo dips. It featured hummus andtzatziki sauce. It was okay. The tzatziki sauce was a little runny for my taste. The wait staff was attentive and friendly.Ambiance is fantastic. All in all are very wonderful experience Read more

I love good food and enjoy going out with friends in Westlake and all over the world. We dine out at least 2 nights a week. I... usually don't take time to post a bad review, mostly because it's low level energy which doesn't serve me and usually falls ondeaf ears. With that said, I was excited about my reservations at Paul Martin's last night but was quickly disappointed at theoverall ambiance, lack of upkeep, wait staff service and some of the food dishes. Let's face it, going out to dinner these dayscan be pricy. I'm rambling... Let's get to the meat of it... First, the restaurant wasn't overwhelmed, front and back of housewas at 70% and it looked like they had adequate staffing with food runners and servers in full display. Our server may have had5 tables. When I arrived, it was still light out. This is always a problem for restaurants who have not given proper attentionto the overall upkeep of the venue, furniture, etc. First thing I noticed was rips in the chairs at check in. There were othernoticeable concerns like the menu had been written on in pen, But I digress... I like to be fair in my review so this willinclude both sides of our evening. We ordered the Steelhead Salmon En Cassolette and their Asian chicken noodle salad. Theserver had a smile and was polite but seemed to be unengaged the whole night. Her service does not reflect the entire wait staffand as we have retail businesses, we always take into account each server is human and can have an off night. The food wasdelivered promptly with salad hitting the table first. Bravo! Wine was served. Our food runner was wonderful, we shared nicetiesand he paid compliments. Once our Salad was served, our waitress didn't return to check on us. The noodles were chewy and a bithard, almost not cooked. The chicken was flavorless, chewy and seemed to be a few days old from the fridge. At least 3 times, our waitress passed by our table without looking or stopping. At one point, she did look at me but k Read more

Paul Martin's is my go-to place for Happy Hour. Alec the bartender, has the personality, the work ethic, the drink knowledge and... the fun all rolled into one. I came for the HH and stayed because of Alec. Now we come back all of the time. All of theemployees are super friendly and helpful. The burger is juicy and grilled to perfection, the salmon tonight was delicious, withsuch great seasonings on it. And my friend had the spicy chicken sandwich which she loved. The Lemon Drops were great too. Wewould have had another but we had to drive. Read more

Paul Martin's has a great menu with selections of salads, sandwiches, hamburgers, fish and steaks. For smaller bites, their... appetizers are a meal! The beer and wine list is long and accompany all the entrees. There is something here for everyone andthe service is spot on. Very friendly staff and attentive. Tonight I enjoyed the Steelhead Salmon en Cassolette. This perfectlycooked salmon comes in a sizzeling hot baking Casserole dish with asparagus, roasted peppers, cherry tomatoes and a blurredblanc sauce. A braised short rib with perfectly seasoned mashed potatoes, horseradish cream, and housemade beef jus. TheSteahouse Cobb mesquite grilled steak, avocado, egg, tomato, candied bacon slightly drizzled with a blue cheesevinaigrette. And the seafood Tacos with a choice of the salmon or lightly fried shrimp. We also tried their Brussel Sproutswhich were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Read more
