Menu for TIKKA GRILL Healthy Fusion. in Westlake Village, CA

I quite love this place. Fusion is probably the right word. I think the underlying influence is Indian. The flavors, the... variety, the sauces. The price! My palate just feels so satisfied after eating here. I usually have a dish that's not on themenu anymore that has rice, black beans, stewed vegies, grilled chicken, and spice it up with the tamarind & other sauces. Addone of the best side salads in town (I'm not kidding) & Asian sesame dressing. This is like somebody's mom's cooking. Actually Ithink I heard that these recipes are from the owner's mom! TIKKA GRILL is a very solid lunch option near my work in Westlake Village. Food is always prepared fresh, Menu has a lot of good... options, and everything always tastes good. This is usually the healthiest food I eat all week (vs. fast food hamburgers/fries).Pricing is reasonable. Service sets it aside from other places. Staff is responsive to any reasonable request, additionally theowner is often right there making sure everything is running smoothly. Expensive and not very good. The food was basic and lacked any real flavor, and it was expensive to boot. They call it... "California cuisine", I'm not sure where they got that from though. I got the steak plate with double vegetables. The veggiesare mostly a stew style with potatoes and carrots. They only had two sauces and neither were spicy at all.
