Bishop's is the best. Old school chili parlor, limited menu, cold beer, hot chili. Cash only, ATM on premise.
Bishop's chili has the best chili around. The staff is friendly and efficient, it was a day when the bar was full but they still... came to our table and were so welcoming to my family. Heard raving reviews about this place so we decided to try it out. Not sure what the big deal is. Chili is watery, bland, and... loaded with oily ground beef. It's not terrible, it's much better than awful fair/carnival chili, but I can make better chili athome. Adding some stew meat cuts instead of the ground beef would go a long way. Classic chili. It's been around forever and the reason is that's it's simply a great recipe. Hot dogs, polish sausage and brats.... Simple but fantastic menu. Small bar with some tables along the sides of the room. Nice quick service. Read more
