We were at the Norwalk location many times. It was amazing. Our first time at Westport. The food was not nearly as delicious as... when they were in Norwalk. We had to sit outside in the cold where the heaters gave off no heat even though our reservation wasfor inside. Our waiter was great but the food was not worth the trip or the money. Read more

Ambience was romantic, the wild caught halibut was delicious and the flavors came together well, but the plantain wasn't... prominent. The gnocchi was the best we've had great flavor! The disappointment came from the churros that tasted like they madeit from a prepackaged frozen box. They were stale, oily, and didn't taste authentic. The bathroom was wet, and had a funnysmell, for such a high end place, bathroom was sub par. Read more

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! This establishment has figured everything out from the front of the house to the back. The staff is... outstanding, and the food/drinks are fantastic. I am writing this review after visiting for lunch and dinner on two separateoccasions both were great times. Paella for two was the best I have had and I have tried a lot. Muscles are so good, as are thevarious tapas we tried (shrimp, octopus, empenadas, etc.) I highly recommend this restaurant. The freshness, execution, andflavors are top notch. Keep up the outstanding work. We will be back very soon! Read more

After trying Basso for the first time, I can say that I had a great experience. I had wanted to try it for a while, and I am... glad I finally did. The atmosphere: of Basso was fantastic. It almost had a nightclub feel to it but in a good way. They have anice bar, and I loved the open wood fire oven. The Staff: was amiable. They were understaffed on the night, so the service wasa little spotty, but you can't blame the ones working for that. The food: was delicious. We ordered a few small plates, whichwere all flavorful. I had the rack of lamb as a main and did enjoy it. Cleanliness: Everything was clean, from the table to therestaurant itself. Read more

My family took me here on Father’s Day this year. We we very well attended to, and the food was excellent. The wait staff... was very busy, but we never felt as if we had been forgotten. There was a guitarist playing inside who was quite talented too. He kept his volume down so we were able to talk, without yelling at each other over the music, but able to listen and enjoy hisplaying as well! I had frequented this restaurant back when he was in Norwalk on Rt123. I’m happy to see he’s done well. This move seemed to have served him well. Congratulations!! I Definitely recommend trying the Arepaitas (small arepas)appetizers! Super delicious! Read more
