They have a nice policy of calling after you dine there to thank you for coming. Unfortunately, when you call back to tell them... you got food poisoning from the steak tartare that the chef and waiter assured you was fine despite its concerning gray color ?you get no return call. We were welcomed at the door by Hudson ready to seat us or walk us to the very cool bar. The owner also greeted us on the way in... and shook or hands and introduced himself. The great service continued at the bar where Danielle and forgive me I forgot hisname made us feel right at home. Place has a cool atmosphere with great music played at a perfect level. Reminiscent of the oldNYC Irish pubs or Sardis. Photos, Art and novelties decorate the walls. After a couple of fresh and amazing drinks from theirdrink menu, we were seated at a table where the great service continued. From our attentive server to the gentleman whopresented our beautiful 15 oz rib eyes straight out of a cast iron pan on to our plates. Wine selection is perfect with goodprices. They wrapped our scrumptious leftovers and we settled the bill and were about to get a nightcap from the bar, when theowner said stay a minute and they served us a double sized creme brulee, to which that same fine gentleman, perfectly burnt thesugar with a torch right at the table. Checked out this spot for the first time tonight and it?s a new firm favorite. The oysters were the best I?ve had so far this... year - their mignonette is incredible. The service was excellent too, especially the man who greeted us in the blue jacket -made us feel very welcome. Nice patio too. Will certainly be going back. Read more

What a great place, I wish I had found it sooner! The staff is excellent and very engaging. On top of ther game. Sat at the bar... and was lucky to get a set for 2 Drinks are made fast and correct. And a follow up ask how are they! Even to crowded at the barwas very friendly and we had a great time. The food was fast cooked perfect, we had burgers I have to admit one if not the bestI have had.
