The only reason I am giving a low review is not because of the food or service. They were both excellent! Compliments to the... chef. A huge oversight on the part of the owners is the total disregard for the physical comfort of their guests. We went onSept 4th and it was COLD out. We had no protection from the wind and our delicious food got colder with every bite. No heaters,no barrier to keep the weather out; even from two sides at least, which would have made a difference. This is an absolutely beautiful setting for a winery. We sat outside under a tent and it was a beautiful warm night. Six of us... arrived for dinner on Saturday night and the special was rib eye steak with blue cheese and scallops and shrimp. This meal wasone of the best if not THE best meal I have had at a restaurant. The steak was done perfectly and the roasted veggies andseafood were delicious.. We had several bottles of wine that set the meal off perfectly. I can't say enough about the mealthat we had. And oh ya....O'dessa our server (not sure I spelled it right), was awesome. We had a lovely visit to the winery for lunch! The setting is beautiful, the service was wonderful, the wine was perfect for a... hot summer day, and the pizza was fantastic! We tried the Camarone and the Caliente - we were not disappointed. We are alreadylooking forward to going back!! Read more

An absolutely amazing evening at Scheuermann (pronounced like « fireman ») Vineyard. First the location was wonderful in... beautiful countryside and obviously a working farm. Secondly and most impressively, the service was attentive, friendly andimpeccable. Lauren & Alison were stellar and as good as service you?d expect at any top 5 star restaurant. Finally the food andwine were excellent. Artichoke dip rated 10 out of 10 by the teens, as did their wood-fired pizza and Francois? steak was tastyand perfectly medium-rare with tasty mushroom sauce. And we loved the Pinot noir and Chardonnay. Couldn?t ask for anythingmore? but then got to visit with Miss Madeleine, the lamb they are rehabilitating. ?? Can?t wait to come back and highlyrecommend. Can't get enough of this place. It isn't the summer without as many visits to Scheuermann's as possible and now that it's still... warm, they are open in October! What a wonderful place to spend a warm fall afternoon. Here you are treated like family. Amazingservice, fantastic food, delectable wine and friendly dogs to greet you! The setting is beautiful and the wood-fired pizza isthe best in the region! I can't wait to go back next year! Pro tip: If you are going in the fall, remember to call ahead, theymight be closed as this is a family run restaurant and winery and they are very busy right now, but they deserve a break frombeing awesome all the time.
