Every year on St. Patrick's Day, my wife and I try a new place for Corned Beef and Cabbage and are usually disappointed. I... usually wind up making my own because we just cant find a place that makes it good. This year we decided to give Lepore's achance because we have been ordering their weekly dinners and have been very happy with the quality and consistency of theirfood. It was the best Corned Beef and Cabbage we have had in years. It was cooked perfectly, tender, juicy and delicious. TheCabbage was soft and tender but not mush and falling apart. It still had some good texture to it, and still extremely tender,the way it should be. The potatoes were soft and creamy and also perfectly cooked. There were no carrots and while I usuallylove carrots with my CB & C, I didn't miss them at all because everything else was so good. This was like a Grammy WinningMovie, the main star was fabulous and the supporting roles were just as good.
