Everybody raves about this place and I'm going to give it a second try I'm thinking perhaps what I ordered maybe the reason I... wasn't overly impressed. I had one of their stir fry dishes and it didn't seem to have that normal spicyness to it that Ivebecome used to. Read more
My friend and I both had delicious Chicken Pad Thai! The servings were huge, enabling each of us to take half of each serving... home. Orders are taken at the counter and brought to the table once prepared. I had spicy, friend had medium. Both seasoningswere as expected, great and yummy! So pleasantly surprised to find this place! I moved to Wheaton a little bit ago and have been trying to find a good Thai place... in/near downtown and was about to lose hope until I found Mai Thai Cafe! I ordered the pad thai with chicken and mild+ spicelevel. The amount of food was great for the price and everything tasted fresh. The mild+ spice level was perfect for me assomeone who is pretty sensitive to spice;- it provided flavor without having an aggressive kick to it. I am looking forward tohaving the leftovers for lunch tomorrow! Read more
