Don't even try it!!! I went in there and noticed the previous owner wasn't there no more and I decided to check the new owner... out. I made my order and was told it will be ready in 20 mins nope that didn't happen I waited 45 mins because deep fried take along time to cook. I worked in the kitchen before um not really. I got my food and left I noticed they put barely any fries andthe chicken you can tell was cooked in old oil. When my family tried the steak and cheese is was it's extremely salty I tastedafter to confirm , so I decided to call and she told me everyone knows that the steaks for the stubs already come with salt andthat they told put salt. I told her well the previous owner who I was a customer for for years since middle school never made isso salty. She continues to say well it's his meat we are using what he had gave us and I hung up because I don't want to wastemy time on people who won't take accountability. Ive been a Chicken Basket customer since High School in 2007, and I can say that it keeps getting better. The new owner has... nailed the classics. The food is tasty, not too greasy, and never over-fried. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that thislocation also serves West African dishes. I have had a few of these meals which were fabulous. I also appreciate that the WestAfrican food is authentic yet made in a way that the spices are not overwhelming and anyone who is not used to the flavorprofiles can easily adjust. The chicken was ok. I had better. The fried shrimp was horrible no taste an to breaded.. won't return to this place.
The food is great, the new management has taken it back to it's original awesome flavor. I drive all the way from Baltimore to... get chicken and the onion rings are always fresh! Read more
