I saw this restaurant online the pictures and menu look like a good option. Let me say this; I have been in the restaurant... business for 50 years eating out around the world. I consider myself fair and forgiving, by far this is the worst restaurantexperience I have ever experienced. Stratford Springs does not exist, instead some other atrocity exist. I entered with twohostesses? Sitting with their feet on the hostess station neve a hello, one finally got up and knocked the candy wrappers ofthe stack of menus and walked into the dinning room, so I followed.and was seated , I was the only one in the dinning room. 15minutes later a server fro what seemed to be a private party stopped by and asked if I had been helped, then yelled the 50 feetback to the hostess and said someone needs to wait on me she was too busy . I think I will end here the experience did notimprove including my meal. I had to walk my bill to the bar to pay, since the server never returned. Read more
We was hoping to have a good experience but was so disappointed. The waitress told us when we were seating ourselves to a table... that "we are just gonna have to wait a minute."Then was extremely rude the whole time. We had to walk across the street to Thewest bar to get our own chips and salsa. She made sure everyone eating there knew she was the only waitress, and this was aSaturday evening. Terrible food. Party of four. Chicken was burnt and dry. Ribs were overcooked. Crab cakes had the overwhelming taste of lemon,... and how do you burn French onion soup? They know how. Don't waste your money. Read more
Saturday We called and asked until what time they were serving dinner and they told us kitchen closes at 10. We got there at... 9:05 and no one was there to greet us, the sign said ?seat yourself?, there was no staff at the bar or dining room. We walkedaround aimlessly hoping someone would appear for about 8 or 9 minutes, cash tips left unattended on the bar, credit card slipsleft on the table were not collected so... we left pretty disappointed and won?t be returning.
