I LOVE Buster Rhino's!!! - I'm on a strict diet reminiscent to Keto and their pork rinds keep me on my path. I'm not kidding,... I've lost over 100 lbs so far and their pork rinds taste so incredibly good that I have not missed chips or junk food in ANY WAYSHAPE OR FORM!!! It's so good that even my boyfriend insists on sneaking into my stash of goodies. We just recently tried theirduck, and we're obsessed - They're now a regular household item of ours. Ordered the pork rinds sampler pack and some sugar free bbq sauce, delivery was pretty quick, little over a week.. So far I've... tried the nacho flavor and they are quite good. I like that they aren't overly crunchy like the ones you find at the grocerystore and I could only ever find non flavored. I want to love this place. I used to love this place. Unfortunately, the quality has decreased over the past year. Here I am on... a Friday night at 6:15pm. There is no one in the store. All employees are in the back and it takes about 3-4 minutes for one ofthem to come out front and notice me. Next, I try to order ribs (at a BBQ restaurant, mind you). They used to have rib specialsas they smoked their ribs on Friday?s. Apparently they are ?so busy? that they don?t have any because they have been making porkrinds. Next, I try to order one of the combos. The sign says 3 meats and 3 sides for $36. The cashier (who finally came from theback) says the sign is a mistake and they only offer 2 sides now. That doesn?t seem right. What once has been a familyfavourite restaurant, is now somewhere we seldom return. I think it?s time to look for a new BBQ restaurant in Durham, as BusterRhinos has turned into a pork rind business. Read more
