If you are looking for a small and cozy place for dinner with a reasonable price, this is the spot. The food was absolutely... delicious, the price was good, atmosphere was really nice and the cherry on top was out server Liam who literally made us alllaugh on countless occasions. Would definitely dine again and will be sharing my experience with others I know who live in thearea! We had the short ribs, steak, a sandwich and the vegan tacos. All were delicious. Read more

As usual, this place is phenomenal in terms of food and drinks. I’m not sure if Cove had anything to do with it but service... was a little bit slow which I am willing to overlook. The staff that did take care of us with friendly, knowledgeable, andprofessional. We started with the grill, peach, Cristini, and the chick Coudry board, which was delectable. For our means I didthe steak dinner with mashed potatoes and my wife did the risotto with chicken. Well, priced, and tasted fabulous. Wouldrecommend this place day after day. Read more

We were grabbing a beer at a brewery 100m away and made a last minute reservation here. The patio setting is spectacular, the... cocktails were out of this world and food was amazing. Met the owner Steve, super nice guy…place is well looked after and thereggae music playing on the patio was an added bonus. There was a live band getting ready to play, but we didn’t stay forit…next time! Read more

Great vibe, great food. Harvest is a great Bougie option for Durham region. They have a great selection of vegetarian and... healthy options as well as options for meat lovers. I had the arugula salad which was excellent but would probably need aprotein option to fill you up as an entrée. But I also had the cauliflower bites which was a perfect vegetarian combo. Othersat the table had halibut which was excellent and the risotto was very good as well. Desserts were fantastic. Read more

I will say that this place is very beautiful. The space is nice and they have a lovely patio that overlooks a beautiful lawn and... garden area. However, the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered the brisket burger. The wait was pretty long but that wouldbe okay if the food is being made fresh. At first, they brought the wrong burger. I let them know and the server questioned whatI ordered and didn't apologize for the mistake. When the correct order came out, it was disappointing. It tasted like a normalburger and was overcooked and dry. The fries were really good. My partner got the jerk chicken entree and he said it was okaybut overpriced. All in all, if you are looking for a nice atmosphere, I would say to check it out but maybe just for drinks. They serve local brew on tap and what we got was great. Read more

My girlfriend and I went for New Years Eve dinner. Let me preface my review by noting that the reason we decided to go was due... to the fantastic experience we had New Years Eve two years earlier. That experience sadly was not to be repeated. Also, to befair it was busier than it had been two years previous, but it was not close to being super busy. We arrived at 6:50 PM (tenminutes early) and were shown to our table immediately. We then waited over ten minutes for our server to appear and take drinkorders. This was followed by another lengthy wait before drinks appeared. I should point out that Liam our server was also thebartender. Another lengthy wait and our appetizers finally arrived. They were fine although my soup was not hot, probably due tositting waiting to be picked up by the server. Next our main course arrived and neither of us had a complaint. The entrees weretasty. Then came dessert. My girlfriend enjoyed hers however, my crème brulee was ice cold (it should be at least a bit warmfrom the caramelizing process), and the custard was grainy. We had two drinks each plus coffee. My second drink was almost avirgin Old Fashioned. The above dinner experience took place from 6:50 PM until 9:40 PM. Just short of three hours for adinner for two people. We should have been finished at least an hour sooner especially as it was a fixed price menu.Reservations tell a restaurant exactly how many people to expect on any given night along with what time those guests willarrive. If you are unable to staff your restaurant properly you are cheating your customers and ruining their night out. Andproviding your customers with an enjoyable dining experience they are happy to pay for, is the whole mandate of a restaurant. What has happened to this restaurant is a shame. To have this pathetic level of service is absolutely unacceptable when adinner for two and a couple of drinks totals over $260. The prices set for the quality and quantity of food served was higherthan warranted in my opinion. Luke warm soup, weak drinks, below par dessert. Not my idea of a Happy New Year. I still feelcheated two weeks later. Unless I see that someone new has taken over this place I won't be back. Mark G. Brooklin, Ont. Read more
