Visited this place as I?m on a quick get-away weekend trip in PA. We got to the restaurant in which it looked very dead. It was... also a Saturday night. The host took us to this claustrophobic corner of the restaurant. The server said that the menu isaccessed on your phone using the scanner code. We did not receive utensils & napkins nor took our drink order (until 20 minuteslater?and the restaurant is completely dead so it?s not like it was completely justified during rush restaurant hours) My family& I eventually ordered food and our drinks. I ordered nachos. The nachos were quite perplexing & off-putting to say the least. Icould have done a better job cooking the meal. it?s as if they had placed a regular crafts cheddar cheese slice with someartificially colored tortilla chips that tasted expired, put some barf-esque beef, and some odd ketchup-salsa concoction - Icould not finish the meal. I felt like yacking after my meal. My family members didn?t like their dish as well. (Such as thebruschetta & burgers & philly cheese steak..) And still no utensils & napkins were given to us so I walked up to the bar to askthe bartender. The server didn?t check up on us at all except once. She told me ?good job? for getting my own utensils & napkinssince she forgot. Lol what. She seemed as if she did not wanna give us the time or day to talk. I could understand if it wasbusy but it was cricket town.. Oh and the tip is included into the bill too?so yes, they charge you a surprise surplus of 18%towards gratuity. And they make room on the bill for you to tip even EXTRA on top of that. No wonder why the servers don?t try.They already know that they are getting tipped. This place has potential to be a cool dinner place with a dance floorconsidering how much room they have. My nephew had his wedding reception there. They had a open bar for 1 hr then you had to buy your drinks, 1 Styrofoam cup of beer... cost $8.00 , then the bar was so small it looked like it was a high folding table with one bartender the line was forever. Therewas no ice water on table where you sat, the food was supposed to be out at 4pm came out at 5 , it was buffet style. The toiletoutside the reception room flooded and water was coming down the steps and the smoker's had to walk through the flooding waterin order to go outside for a smoke. Surprisingly good. I judged too early on the place that looked more like a bar. But the place had many tables. The menu was a... little average and a some surprises. The quality was excellent. The staff was great! Read more
Burger and chicken sandwich along with fries were good. Draft beers were nice and cold. The highlight of our visit though was... Kim, our server. We've never met a more pleasant person! We've dined at this restaurant before, and really enjoyed it. But today, after driving out from NJ, we had to order from an... interface that DIDN'T WORK. I tried ordering wings, but there was no button to add them to my "cart". A friend tried to order,but, despite having essentially NO SERVER, it insisted that 18 percent was the minimum TIP.
