Went for dinner on the advice of my granddaughter. They didn't disappoint. Watched the deer and turkeys while we were enjoying... dinner. Hoping to see bears but that wasn't the night. We stopped in for breakfast because we thought we'd be able to see bears. The place was practically empty. Besides us, there... were just two other people. My bacon was hard and dried out. I went to pay the bill for our excellent meals and NO wallet! My wife paid the bill and I tried to call my neighbor to see if... my wallet was in the house. Both our cell phones were useless that far north. The manager came in and called my neighbor on aland line. He found the wallet and saved us from back tracking our visit to the waterfalls and lake of the clouds. I gave themanager a big hug of appreciation for caring for us in a time of need. We?ll be back. We at at the restuarant, out of 6 of us, only one person was disappointed by the food, yet tried a little of some of the others... and loved theirs. But the best part was seeing the bears, I know they are lured there by the food, but still it was so cool tosee them! Definitely call the restaurant and find out what time is your best chance of seeing them and Reserve a window seat ifit is your first time. Read more

Good service, friendly staff, good drinks, very good food?.. and the four bears were a delight to watch (no hibernation in... august!!) Because of Covid and health concerns, the salad bar removal is a good idea. We cleaned our plates?.. 1/2 rack ribswere great, rib eye was done just right, chicken was very good!
