This is one of those places that I've frequented in the past and I'm never disappointed. It always gets better with each return... trip. The food is very good, the wait staff polite and the general atmosphere very comfortable. Lunchtime is always busy and youmay not find ample parking. They are very good at handling large parties. We had about 30-35 in our and everyone was served in avery quick and efficient manner. The menu is on the higher end but not too bad. It's very accessible by freeway and is about ahalf hour drive from The Bronx. I recommend it highly to folks looking for an escape from NYC. Read more
Okay so, this place is right next to my church and when there's an extra church service, me and my friends know where we're... going. The cabin. Period, they always give us our food in the right amount of time, and it's so delicous. Service is great too,but this one time a waiter skipped my friend for some reason, and when we got all our food she had to order. (She was so upset,her mom did yell at someone though????) But either way, it's still pretty nice. We've also had events here from our church andeverything goes pretty good. I got a pizza here last weekend, pepperoni, jalapeños, and olives. Read more

The food was great at the Cabin. We stopped for a quick dinner and did not try any of their cocktails which sounded yummy! Still... jetlagged and had to go to bed. The main restaurant had a great vibe, unfortunately we were sat in an adjoining small roomwhich was very quiet and not so atmospheric. A cute cabin resturant. The inside is warm and welcoming with framed photography. 5 stars for food service and atmosphere. I... highly recommend the pineapple basil cocktail which consists of pinapple and basil which has been muddled coconut vodka triplesec and pinapple juice. So refreshing I had a second one. Apetizer was the fried veggies with dipping sauce. Scrumptious. Myentree order was the Angus meat loaf which came with garlic smashed potatoes along with fresh green beans. The meatloaf was oneof the better meatloaf I ever had. Chunky tender and served witha steak 1 seven sauce. Potatoes and green beans where tasty andbeans were fresh. My husband had the strip steak which was juicy and cooked to his perfection. Grilled asparagus and smashedgarlic potatoes came with his entree. He said he highly recommends the dish.
