Nasty owner told the cashier that my service dog and I could not enter, after I showed my ID and service ID card. I asked why, ... he (Leon) came over with an attitude and began to tell me the reasons why we were not allowed. I said no problem, this is asmall town and social media is large. He then said he would make an exception. We ate and left. I will never go back. I'vesince learned he's not a friendly man. That's too bad. GOOD LUCK LEON. Read more
This restaurant is found on Main St. of Mt.Airy NC. They have burgers, fries the usual and they have vegetables, mashed... potatoes, green beans and collards. Cash or check preferred. Read more
Staff was excellent. They were happy, and cheerful. There was a short wait for a table, maybe 10-15 minutes. Go figure, Saturday... around noon. The food was spot on. Had the Western omelet w/home fries, and both were flavorful, and we'll prepared. The homefries were some of the best I have eaten. I know, they are "just potate chunks," but these were soft without being mushy, andhad a balanced flavor such that no added "doctoring" was needed. No salt, no pepper, nothing. The omelet, had lots of flavor,too. You can taste the veggies, and the meats, without one overpowering the other. Next time I am up that way, I will make it apoint to try more dishes. Read more
