Seated us promptly upon arrival. Waiter asked us the order in which we want plates/drinks to come out which was great. We asked... for a recommendation on a starter plate and went with the recommendation. The brussel sprouts shared plate was rich, delicious, and a great way to start. We ordered the elk tenderloin and beef tenderloin for entrees. Couldn?t have been happier with bothdishes. Ordered medium rare, cooked to just that, and both plates were worth every penny. We finished with a great dessert andcoffee. Each plate was brought to us by what I suspect is the owner or manager. At the end, he asked how our experience was. Thewaiter sat and chatted with us and we got to know each other. His name was Danny and he represented the restaurant and chefsperfectly. You all made a memorable experience for myself and my wife. Thank you and we can?t wait to return soon! I can?trecommend enough. Read more

We had reservations at 5:15 several weeks in advance at their sister restaurant Ciao Mambo. When they were closed longer for a... remodel they offered to change our reservation to Latitude 48. We thought we would try it out, as they had renovated about ayear ago. Our table was moved to the worst table in the restaurant. In the middle of everyone. We asked to move to anothertable as the restaurant was completely empty. We were told we couldn?t have the table but they agreed to move us to a booth. We ordered fries and there was no ketchup or mustard. We had Elk Tenderloin which was cooked perfectly but could use somespices and something to fill you up, after all , the dish was $54. We also had to the pesto chicken which was bland and thevegetables tasted like they were frozen, lacking flavor. There was maybe 5 bite sized pieces of chicken. My daughters pastawas just soaked in butter. She didn?t even eat it. After dinner we went to the lounge and had some drinks. A few hours laterwe noticed the restaurant was still empty, specifically the table we had asked to sit at. The hostess apologized and said wecould have sat you there. We left but then returned to speak to the manager, as we were disappointed in our service. HeidiCorum came out and could care less. It was obvious our special occasion was not hers. It is evident the Manager could use sometraining from our beloved Ciao Mambo. We love the sister restaurant and are always treated like family. To clarify we arrivedat 5:15 to an empty restaurant, and left at 8:00, the table we requested to sit at still empty as it had been all evening. Thereare so many better places to eat in Whitefish! I expect the generic automated response from Latitude 48 similar to their otherreviews. Read more

The portions were good for the amount of money that was paid. I really enjoyed their salmon plate, and ended up eating every... bite without feeling overly stuff but satisfied. I also tasted my friends plate for the pizza and the pasta and everything wastasty. Read more

Have been here a few times for our wedding anniversary when visiting Whitefish. The first time we went it was incredible. Every... dish was amazing. They had these cheddar mashed potatoes that I dreamt about for weeks after. The next time was not as great, food didn?t have the same spark (and the mashed potatoes were removed from the menu :(). All in all still a positive experience, staff is always very friendly and helpful! We will still be back. Read more

The restaurant is clean up top and looks well presented. The outside is inviting and the building itself looks pretty cool at... night. The food overall was pretty good. I still give some props for the food in that the Steak Tips with Polenta and theBrussel Sprouts were really good! Highly recommend both of those dishes and would go back just for those. What I don?trecommend is the Stuffed Poblano (this was so bland and flavorless, it tasted like a dirty shredded rag stuffed into a pepper). The drink I ordered, Huckleberry Maitai was promising in the way it looked but was ultimately flavorless. It tasted like waterwith a weak flavoring added to it that you couldn?t distinguish. The drinks themselves were also a bit weak. I suspect this wasdue to the bar not being adequately stocked to make an amaretto sour (a bar without sour mix is curious). The dessert wasalright, not amazing. Something my party guest and I noticed was that the desserts didn?t really seem to match the food. Addingto that there was 3 options. Unusual but we grabbed something and gave it a try. The devils cake was super salty. My partymatenoted that it was unusual for any cake to taste that salty and wonder if maybe the salt was mismeasured for that cakebatter. The service was a bit mixed in that our service was lacking with the server we got but the server that was serving thetables around us (a different person) was highly attentive to their tables. So there is some opportunity there. An observationfor our service was that we only saw our server at the beginning and end of the engagement voluntarily. I had to get up out ofmy chair after we had been waiting for them to come back to order a second round of drinks, we had nearly finished all of ourfood at this point. The last thing for us here was the speed of the service of the kitchen. Our drinks were coming out AFTERour food. Which those that keep track with timing know that this is a bad thing to practice. Drinks should always come Read more
