The food here is always good, whether I go in for a salad or a burger and appetizers. We were there recently for Karaoke Night... and Crystal G. was managing the place so well! She was very attentive, always noticing and empty glass or a finished plate (evenbefore our server noticed). She kept things running very smoothly! Read more
Wow, passing through and stopped for a bite to eat. It happened to be karaoke night. The fish and chips are awesome and the... cheeszilla was juicey flavorful with an awesome glob of melted burnt cheese. Drunks trying to sing is better than stand upcomedy and makes for great entertainment. There was no escaping the karaoke, not even in the bathroom. What I loved about this place was the ambiance. It really was a great feelwalking in and the outstanding hospitality. Nessa was absolutely fabulous! She had really great suggestions! She was dead on! Ifelt like I was back home at one of my favorite local joints. This would be my favorite place for sports because for everyangle of the restaurant, there was a TV you can watch! She even ordered a Painkiller cocktail (suggested by our beautiful, no rockin'server) which really was a doozy! We started with the the Hive House Disco Frittes. Just great comfort food. We ordered the Chicken Sandwich, the Fish and Chips, and the Cheezilla Burger. Each entree was carefully assembled and presented. The portions are great! Everything was piled high. You will have leftoversif you order an appetizer! You've got to be hungry! The entrees are unexplainable! You would have to see my photos. Allentrees were just gorgeous. They were delicious. The Fish & Chips were fantastic. I swear they brought out the entire fish! Sosucculent and juicy with not much breading. It wasn't greasy and dense! Looks can be deceiving! It was light on the tummy. What will knock your socks off is the malt vinegar based dipping sauce and I LOVE that they topped the chips with malt vinegar -that's my favorite touch that was added to the whole entree. Omg! The food was amazing. Both us ordered the Charred Angus Tri-tip. The goat cheese sprinkled paired perfectly with the... entree. It was freaking delicious.
