Initial review below.\n\nLatest review:\n\nWe sat at the downstairs bar on Saturday, two days after Thanksgiving. Across the... street at Byrne Plaza was a Christmas celebration, so the bar was busy.\n\nThe Cove has some GREAT money-saving bar specials allweek long.\n\nThe Christmas.decorations were very nice. The bartender (GIGI -- she deserves a Christmas bonus!) was friendly andoffered great service.\n\nAll and all we had a great time. Good food, cold beer and fun people.\n\nOriginal review (3stars):\n\nLet me start by saying that the establishment has only been open for a couple of weeks, so I\'m sure they are stillworking out the kinks.\n\nMy friends and I chose to sit upstairs on this last visit. I was impressed with the decor. You couldtell a lot of work went into the place since it changed hands. That said, the bathroom had an old, bent up air vent that had abunch of cobwebs in it, plus some other old and rusty items. Perhaps the owner is not yet done with the upgrades.\n\nThe serverwas pleasant, but the service was BAD. More precisely, extremely slow. My drink took 15 minutes to receive. We were ready toorder for another 15 minutes or so before the server came over. So, about a half hour from being seated to order.\n\nBy the way,it wasn\'t busy. Most people were just drinking, and there were two servers for about 7 occupied tables.\n\nThe food took awhileto come out as well, but the time it took was tolerable. The food runners didn\'t know which of the three burgers was thewell-done one. Turned out it didn\'t matter -- they were all well done. Reminds me of the joke, \"We\'ll cook your burgers anyway you\'d like, as long as it\'s well-done!\"\n\nOn the upside, the food wasn\'t bad.\n\nThe manager came over and asked howeverything was going. However that was at the end of the meal, which was too late.\n\nAll said, we\'ll be back again. I\'mhopeful that the poor service can be fixed. As other than that, we had an enjoyable time. Went with my family to the Cove while on vacation. I ordered a strawberry margarita which almost wasn\'t drinkable. It was a... very odd flavored.drink. It\'s a nice restaurant. The food wasn\'t great. My husband and I both got burgers. They weren\'tfresh burgers. We asked for bacon and it had to have been microwaved. the French fries were good though. The kids chickens fingerand fries were excellent . Our waitress was wonderful! Read more

Delicious burgers and an overall great experience!!! My family and I went to dinner here last Thursday night. We passed by here... on our way to a different restaurant which had a huge line outside. I had read an article that this place had changed hands andthought we’d give it a try. The first floor was very nice and about half full. We chose to sit upstairs and I’m so glad wedid. The second floor was beautiful…vaulted ceiling, big wooden bar, tastefully decorated, clean and modern. It wasn’t verycrowded upstairs. There were only about two other tables and a few people at the bar. They do not have a huge menu but therewere some interesting choices. We all ended up ordering burgers and they were absolutely delicious, the best burger I’ve hadin a long time! Quality beef, juicy, with good rolls. Our waiter, Irving, was very polite and accommodating. He brought us abasket of rolls with seasoned melted butter prior to our meal. We quickly ate them all as they were delicious- especially theseasoned melted butter. About halfway through our experience they opened the garage door type windows that faced the park wherea live concert was taking place. So then we had live music and a nice view of the setting sun which was the icing on the cake!We loved that there was no wait and we were seated immediately. We also loved that it wasn’t super crowded but this placedeserves more patrons. They’ve obviously put a lot of work into the place and I want to keep going back! Bonus: free parkingout back! Give this place a try! Read more

My husband and I decided to try the cove after looking for somewhere new to eat but we were hesitant bc nobody we know has tried... here yet. Asia was our waitress she was super sweet and attentive without being too much PERFECT service. We ordered 3appetizers which came out pretty quickly. The scallops were made to absolute perfection the fried crab was my husband’sfavorite also very good and the tempora chicken had a sweet taste with a nice kick. Entrees didn’t disappoint either he hadthe steak n I had the stuffed chicken. The meal was well worth the price. There was even live music which isn’t typically mything but it was nice. Can’t wait to come back with my kids! Read more

We went with a group after our son\'s beach blast tournament. It was a great place to celebrate. The staff was friendly and... entertaining. They did everything to accommodate our group. The food was awesome and the drinks were great. It gives you anice reprieve from the boards but close enough to get right back into the thick of it. The place is very clean and open. Wedined upstairs and enjoyed a view of the park. Great spot to view any event happening there. They also had live musicdownstairs that they broadcast upstairs. Highly recommend checking it out.
