We stayed at Bal Harbour on a weekend package for the first time since Covid and were pleasantly surprised at the new look,... welcoming staff and much-improved cuisine at the hotel's Harbor Grill. Our breakfasts were perfect--fresh, hot, wholesome, andmade-to-order. Read more

We went here for breakfast and were very satisfied. Server was polite and attentive. The food came out promptly and was... delicious. Coffee was also very good. Later the same day, we decided to go back for lunch due to the convenient location. Itwas a little late (around 2 PM) and we were the only people in the restaurant. This time, the service left a lot to be desired. Our server looked to be around 10 years old, and while she was very nice, she seemed to be a little nervous/unsure of what shewas doing. I don?t blame her for this, as she?s only a kid and has probably not been doing this for long. Meanwhile, there was ateenage boy sitting on his phone doing nothing at the other end of the restaurant. Not sure why he couldn?t come to help herout. Food was a little slow to come out, but was hot and fresh when it arrived. My harbor chicken sandwich was a little on thegreasy side, but tasted great nonetheless. Overall, I think that if the issues with the staff can be fixed, this place could bereally great given it?s size and location. I may stop in again if I?m ever in this area of Wildwood Crest again. This is a family run restaurant that treats its patrons like family. The food is made to order and is delicious. I have dined... there with my large family at least a dozen times for breakfast, lunch & dinner and have never experienced anything that thesepeople are complaining about. I have even used the take out window with no issues. The Harbor Grill is one of the hidden gems todine at in Wildwood Crest. The staff is friendly, prompt and very accommodating. It is also very clean. The dining room is allwindows which makes for a lovely view. Read more

I am not only a patron of Harbor Grill, I am also employed as a server and I guess what I enjoy most is the food. The cook makes... sure his workers have full bellies before they start their day and or a full belly before they leave. Needless to say, I havehad the opportunity in tasting quite a few things on the menu. So far, my breakfast favorite is the cooks Eggs Benedict and theGolden French Toast. I haven't had the chance to try the Harbor Stuff but those who have ordered it say it's delicious and thefruit sauce served with it is "out of this world"!! I can say the home fries served with breakfast are tastier than any otherhome fries I've had, which includes "my own" and in my book it's hard for anyone to prepare something better than myself, butHarbor Grills Home fries take presidency over my own....lol From the lunch menu I've had the chicken cheese steak and regularcheese steak and they are made with 100% beef and 100% chicken with a hint of the cooks special seasoning which brings a wholenew lite to "chicken cheese steak". As far as the rest if the lunch menu goes I haven't heard one complaint about the food. Somefolks have had an issue with the prices but people need to understand that the cost of certain things have gone up and keepgoing up and if the cook wants to keep it on the menu he has to raise the price as the price is raised on him. Its not somethinghe's proud to do because he wants everyone to be happy just as he is happy and periodically escapes the kitchen to see howpeople are enjoying their meal. Please don't let disgruntled employees reviews shy you away from stopping in to have a bite toeat at the "HARBOR GRILL" located on the lobby floor of the Bal Harbour Hotel on Stanton Rd in Wildwood Crest. I guaranteeyou'll walk away with a satisfactory full belly from a delicious meal and a smile from the customer service you'll receive fromthe servers and hosts. Hopefully, your overall experience will also bring you back!! Read more
