Beautiful place to go eat!! Palm trees line the walkway and the Margherita pizza was delicious. Expensive drinks ($15 each for... some!) but the ambiance made up for it. Read more
We visited last night but it was really disappointing. While the place has a nice view, it lost the ambiance it once had partly... because they shrunk the size of it. And while some food items are priced ok, they charged us $22 for a ridiculously smallappetizer of (I think it was called) fire shrimp. It was such a rip off. I love coming here!!! Bartenders are awesome (shoutout Lou), drinks are always good, and they have the best boneless wings.
We love, love staying at the Hotel Icona, but this restaurant misses the mark. We ate there on our first day and the food was... mediocre, expensive and the service was subpar. We sat for over 10 minutes with no acknowledgement. Once our food arrived ourserver never came back until we asked for the check. I ordered the fresh shrimp and crab appetizer, the shrimp was okay, but thecrab was mushy. They delivered our food without napkins and silverware, which took another 5 minutes to acquire. Another serverwas cleaning up tables and had several napkin/silverware in her arms and walked by us! We left most our food uneaten and ourserver never asked if we were happy. It's unfortunate because the vibe and location is fantastic and we would have eaten thereseveral more times during our stay. They need to have simple really good menu items and do them well. Food was excellent, the band seemed like they were drunk the music there were singing didn't make sense. Either way, nice... ambiance, the pizza my son ordered was burned, but they took it off the bill and made him a fresh one right away, the foodrunner had accidently brought the wrong one. so i'm not going to take away stars for that, this place has potential to be anawesome little spot to hang out.
