We are new to the area and like to find local places to eat rather than touristy or chain places. The Breakfast House is a... small diner type restaurant with a limited menu. My husband and I had eggs and hash browns. The food tasted okay, but Ithought there was an excessive use of butter and oil. My husband liked it...me not so much. We both had digestive issues laterin the day. I honestly don't know if it was from the food (hash browns were "rich") but I don't think we will be going back. The locals in there included a sheriff who seemed to be a regular so I don't want to bad mouth the place. Just giving you myimpression. Read more

Classic small breakfast diner, almost looks unchanged from the 70's or 80's. The food was great the waitress was friendly... defiantly stop by my next trip through Wilmington. Read more

I don?t normally leave bad reviews but I feel this was warranted. First of all we waited an hour for a cheeseburger and... scrambled egg plate. My toast was cold and over buttered. My eggs were more an omelet than scrambled. The bacon was way toogreasy. Our sodas were flat. And it was definitely over priced. However the staff was friendly. Read more
