On vacation in Top Sail, NC and drove over for the day to Wilmington and found this Irish Pub. The staff was very friendly and... prompt. the menu was very Irish as expected. I had Bangers and Mash, as good as you will find in America and My wife had thefish and chips. The food was very good and hot. The portions were large and plentiful. the experience was great and the mgmt.and staff was fabulous! Read more
We found this gem today while out in Wilmington and are glad we ventured inside. We arrived on a Tuesday right before noon when... they opened and there were already folks waiting to get in. We sat down promptly and the pub quickly filled up while we sat. The staff were amazing and attentive. The food was even better. Two of us got the fish and chips which you could tell was handdipped, which came crispy, delicious, and piping hot. The accompanying hand cut fries were equally delicious. Our table alsohad the fish tacos, black and blue burger and the bangers and mash. Not a single complaint and everyone cleaned their plates. The one that had the burger said it was by far one of the best burgers she had had in awhile as it was very well seasonedthroughout. great food drink and atmosphere!!! not a chain restaurant it is privately owned and it shows in the attention to detail and... quality at a bargain price. friendly staff. highly recommend you stop here anytime you are in Wilmington NC and Carolina Beachwould make a great tradition. lots of authentic Irish pub food and drink with some enhanced dishes as well for the non puristthere is something for everyone. i stopped here on a business trip from out of state and i?m glad i did!
