I called earlier today for a takeout order and I only ordered the French toast with the strawberries on top. So the last couple... times I've ordered this they tasted and like old grill pieces was on it. I absolutely love these when they're made right sotoday I call in the order they tell me about 15-20 minutes I get there about 20 minutes and the girl at the front with glassestold me they don't have strawberries. I was like y'all couldn't have called me and told me I literally drove all the way hereand they could not have called me and told me they didn't have strawberries or told me on the phone this isn't the only badexperience I've had either I waited almost 2 hours to be waited on a few months ago. I stopped here for dinner with my family after the Renaissance festival, took a while to be seated and they were not busy.... after being seated for an hour I had to find the hostess and ask for our drinks, She was cocky and stated that she's only oneperson and they were short handed, We waited another 45 minutes for our food. who has the time for this? I used to love the BobEvans food chain but not anymore, This location and the Milford location seem to have an issue with keeping staff employed.Maybe they need to raise their pay or I can see them going under quick!! This place used to be good... Not any more. 3 times I said something about our food and they never got it right, brought my... toast when they brought the check at the end of the meal. Got 1 refill on my coffee but they never brought me more creamer. Iasked for extra napkins before we even ordered and for 3 people they brought us 2. I ordered limp bacon asked if they couldplease not burn it I can't eat crispy bacon, it was so burnt it was black. She took it off my plate with her hands and tossedit on her tray and said "I'm just going to throw it away" ok but don't touch the rest of my food with your hands when I just sawyou handling money. They don't know how to make over easy eggs, hey guys the yolk should be runny! The replacement bacon was aburnt ball? Seriously? If you're in town and want a sit down breakfast I would suggest Frishes, they have been improvinglately. They weren't busy, I'm assuming they just had a rush to because lots of tables were dirty but empty. They took our namewhen we first got there but then someone else started seating others when they walked in so I said something. I have worked inrestaurants I see how this could have happened but instead of just apologizing and seating us he told me he just clocked on andwe would have to wait and still sat the other group!?!? They even said we were there first. This makes the third time in a rowthis Bob Evans has sucked so I think I'm done trying for a bit. I contacted the main number last time and they sent me a $5gift card for my issues lol to bad the $50+ order was completely wrong that time and never got fixed lol. If I go back and itimproves I will change my review but for now I would strongly suggest going someplace else. Read more
