My family loves this place. I like it, but I?m still team Five Guys. I just think they do the same kind of thing but better. But... it?s a close call and probably just personal preference. This time the service was a little on the slow side and they seemed tobe getting backed up with orders. This is my second negative review in my history on Google. I've been at this location 2-3 times prior, and service/food has... always been a solid average, which is on par with these sorts of burger joints. My experience last Saturday around 2 pm wasbelow average for multiple reasons. I was promptly greeted by the employees and the cashier was quick to offer assistance withmy order, but I decided to first set up my kids at the table before placing my order. Once I was ready, I went to the counterand stood there for 3-4 minutes while watching 4 employees having casual conversations. Keep in mind the place was relativelyempty, and they were looking at me the entire time. Finally, a young man in the kitchen mentioned to another employee to take myorder. Since not a single customer walked up to the counter while I was ordering, I didn't feel a need to rush my process. Iwas not very familiar with the kids menu and the cashier wasn't very patient or friendly with me taking any time to understandwhat they offered (it's a very basic kids menu, but I still wanted to understand the 2-3 options they had). Once I finishedplacing my order, my 3-year-old stole my attention away for 15-30 seconds, but the young cashier repeated with a loud voice"SIR, IS IT FOR HERE OR TO GO" or something to that effect. I don't usually have people talk to me that way, and found therudeness entertaining. Again, still no one behind me at the counter, so I'm not sure I understood her rush. Moving to the foodpart, my kids had plain cheeseburgers and I ordered the burger fi burger without cheese, which she confirmed, but I noticed onmy receipt after receiving my food that she documented the cheeseburger. The burger buns were also very cold, my young kidsdidn't seem to care, but it did take a little away from enjoying my burger. I went to Bugerfi at the groove with my family on a monday while it was i guess a medium busy time for them, my food got out in... 5 min everything was good the burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were real crispy. To make it even better we had aperson come up to us and make sure that everything was good and that we had everything that we needed was a really sweet personand had us laughing too, His name was Bradley.Also the person who was making shakes was Sara and she made them really good andquick and we had a fun time talking to her while she made us our shakes. The location is great but the restaurant is dirty and not friendly. I ordered a vegan burger with fries to go and they charged... me $16 for small size burger like a macdonald burger with burned french fries when I talked to them they said that's how theyserve the fries and you can see those pan full of fries just hanging in the air. I returned the fries because I don't need thembut just to make aware future customers what to expect. Expensive place for cheap food and service. Read more
