Absolutely the best Caesar I have ever had! They put a sliver of mackerel in it and I never knew how flavorful a salad could be... until now. From the pizza to the pastas and bread ?. Stopped here at random and had dinner at the bar. Staff was very professional and friendly and so was bartender... especially. Ordered the lasagna and it was good and a large portion. When I was looking for a place in Windsor to throw my friend's 40th birthday party, I gave Cacciatore a call. I spoke with... Andrea, and she was amazing. She answered all my questions and even gave me her cell number so I could continue to reach outwith any other questions. I couldn't believe how accommodating and helpful she was. Great Italian place! On our first visit, it was hard to tell for sure if we had the right place because there are no signs I... could see from the street. We parked on the street since there isn't a parking lot for the restaurant. The restaurant is insideThe Windsor Mill and there is a small sign on the door to let you know you have the right place. The staff was great and we wereseated right away at a table next to the fireplace in the back. They have a nice wine list and a few beers to choose from, but Idon't expect a large beer menu at an Italian place. When the salads came, they were really small and served on a very largeplate; I thought it was strange. Be aware, they serve anchovy on the Caesar salad, which wasn't my favorite thing. They broughta loaf of bread with olive oil to snack on while waiting for the entrees. The entrees were good! I had the chicken parmesan andmy wife had the special, which was pasta with bolognese and she loved it, but the portion was fairly small. We had enough to eatand considered a dessert, but then decided not to indulge. The prices were reasonable for a nice dining experience like this. Wehave had the pizza here before and it is VERY good! Pro tip: If you get the pizza to go and head to the brewery and eat it ifyou are in the mood for pizza and beer. Read more
