I don't know why it's taken me this long to write a review for Avanti. I have been coming here for 10 years at least. On top of... being a fantastic chef, Dan, the owner, has become a good friend over the years. He goes above and beyond unlike any otherrestaurant I've been to. For example, as a fairly picky eater, I have a rather unusual order. If I come with a large party andwe order entree's for the table, Dan remembers my order and will make me a special plate just for me, without even asking. Thisis hands down my favourite Italian restaurant in Windsor. The food, the atmosphere, the service and the prices are allexceptional. My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary dinner and it was absolutely amazing to say the least. We went with the Grande All... You Can Eat, the portion sizes were perfect for the two of us. The food was beyond delicious and our server was so friendly! Nopictures because we dug right in, but truly a hidden gem. This is our new date night spot, can't wait to return ???? Read more

Went here for my birthday dinner and it was the best Italian food I?ve ever had. Italian is my favourite and I am a VERY picky... eater, and good god it was fantastic. We had the Arancini, Garlic and Cheese Flatbread, Caesar Salad, Chicken Parm, ChickenFlorentine, and Penne with Dans sauce. We have tried several other Italian restaurants in the city and none have even comeclose to the food we had here. Read more
