Delicious food! Stopped in here 30 minutes before closing. They let us know, and they weren't able to give us an appetizer before our mains, but they were still happy to serve us so late. The Kung Pao gluten is amazing, and the Satay slices were very good. The steamed veggies dumplings were also amazing. The service was fine. The room is quite basic, but clean and welcoming. If I lived in Winnipeg, I'd definitely be back to try many more menu items!

I?ve eaten here a few times, the first time the food made me sick. The third time I didn?t end up liking a dish at all, literally couldn?t eat any of it and was still fully charged for the meal that I didn?t touch. I have work restaurants for many years and that is not how a guest experience should be. I won?t be coming back to eat fake food! Sorry I know you?re a local business but its really not good service or quality meals.

I moved from Winnipeg but this is one of the places I look forward to going back to when I visit the city. I usually go multiple times when I?m here. The place is cute and simple but their food is always delicious and well priced. Vegetarian or not, this place is always great

This is my favorite vegan restaurant. Absolutely excellent, always! The crispy black mushrooms are a must! My favorite dishes are steamed veggie fish, chili soya strips, and sweet and sour bean curd. ??????

Definitely in my top 3 restaurants of all time. I've been eating here for many years and the food and service has always been consistently amazing. The atmosphere is nice enough, but many great memories give this restaurant a special place in my heart (which is why I'm so happy they're back open for dine-in!). The staff are always very welcoming, and I remember one time in particular my friend left his wallet after we left, and the owner ran two blocks to return it! If I listed off all my favourite dishes I might as well take a picture of the menu, but a few do stand out to me more than others. The bean thread vegetable soup is my #1 favourite food of all time ever (wouldn't recommend if you don't like ginger though), as well the fried veggie hams, fried wontons, garden veggie chicken, and chow mein w/ satay sauce are all amazing.

A wonderful spot. Friendly staff and fantastic food. We will definitely return, our vegetarian daughter was super impressed as well. Cheers

On the second evening of the 4-day train ride from Toronto ? Vancouver, we stopped in Winnipeg. We pulled into the station around 5 PM and were informed we had two hours. I had my skateboard with me, so I could essentially go anywhere in the downtown core. After a simple search on Happy Cow, I discovered that Affinity Vegetarian Garden was close by and it was open. In my 2 years vegan career, I have not come across many vegan Chinese restaurants. I was excited to once again eat a soyball that brought me back to one of my favourite dishes in my days BV (Before Vegan). I loved the entire meal, once again amazed by the fact that we live in a time where we don?t have to eat animals to feed ourselves. Admittedly, I did not feel great about the packaging. As a former certified zero-waste influencer, I brought shame to my former brand, however I do believe veganism is more impactful than zero-waste. Besides I was travelling west and knew that this experience was ephemeral. I returned to the train afterward with a sense of deep gratitude, for all those who played a part in my evening?s feast. When I returned to the train station, it became apparent that my group of train friends went out for many drinks. I was glad to have chosen instead to eat at Affinity Vegetarian Garden, a place I will surely visit when I am next in Winnipeg.

This restaurant is fantastic! The family that runs the place is delightful. I love the eight treasure tofu, and their dumplings are amazing. The ginger tea there is very strong, but super good if you like that sort of thing. Very well priced and large portion sizes, great place to share a few dishes with friends! The place is comfortable, and the bathrooms are always clean and well stocked.
