Went for supper and waited 20 minutes to get served/order. No one ever came to serve us. Eventually we went to the bar to order... a drink and inquire about getting food. We were told they were busy with taking orders from the patio, even though the patio wasmore than half empty (only 5 customers were present at best). After 20 minutes with no service we decided to leave and paid 4$for a can of brisk ice tea. Not the first time we come here and are forced to wait long periods before even being greeted bywaitstaff. Their service is disgusting!!!! The bartenders are not nice at all and the food there is the most disgusting thing I have ever... eaten in my life!!! I ran away and we went to enjoy and spend our money in a place that is worth it! Read more
entered with my dog to an empty restaurant to ask for a take-out cappuccino. Server told me dogs not allowed. I asked why not... and he asked me to leave, because I asked the question. Rude instead of having a conversation. Several restaurants in Winnipegare dog friendly now. Bar Italia is an arrogant, and rude establishment. The fact that my dog has joined me as other's dogs haveon the patio, where people also eat and drink, and I was ordering a take out coffee so was leaving in three minutes, and theserver could have suggested I wait outside and he would bring me the coffee, his response was about my question to his statementand not the issue at hand. Nothing like satisfying your Bar I Deluxe Fries cravings..picture in this review are the chicken fingers with deluxe fries..one... being banana peppers and mozzarella and the other herb and garlic! Never disappointed..Bar I has been a staple since I was myteens. Spent my early twenties celebrating my birthday here and I have the best memories..definite changes in crowds over thedecades..but the food brings me back!! Read more

Torontonian visiting Winnipeg for the first time. My friend brought me to this place and said it?s been here for years and the... food is great! We went in and ordered Jalapeño Cheese Fries with Chicken fingers with the infamous Honey Dill sauce. Everythingwas absolutely delicious and the service was super fast!
