It's a very good dairy queen, about what you'd expect for a dairy queen. It is great in the summer to nab a treat while in... downtown transcona. Be aware that It can be a tad crowded during peak hours. It also has a tendency to sell out of some of themore popular items, and it also closes for the entire winter (which makes sense since people are unlikely to want to standoutside to order items. The staff is friendly and pretty quick to prepare your items even when things get quite busy. Parkingdoesn't seem to be too much of an issue if you need to although the lot is a bit awkward for the 2 businesses there. Read more

It's good if your want ice cream while going on a walk, often the flavor isn't there because of less toppings being added then... you would get at other DQ locations. I understand they need to make a profit, but as a customer I want my moneys worth. Iprefer the location on Regent and Lag. Read more

Humm...Mask mandate is over for indoors...yet you expect people to comply to your paranoia when we are standing outside on what... I'm pretty sure is "city property" This long term customer will be going elsewhere..as I'm sure many others will. Let me ask youthis, if media said "the sky is falling", would you even leave your house to open up the store...lol Read more

My girls wanted some ice cream after school so we stopped here. The male taking the order got the order wrong. He did not give... my daughter a receipt. When she brought the order to the van she was upset because the employee insisted she got what sheordered. She ordered a large milkshake but was given a medium which was only 2/3 full. I went back with her to the window tohave the order corrected. She explained the error. The employee insisted my daughter ordered the medium. He claimed he onlycharged her a medium. I asked for the receipt which he could not provide. Instead of arguing, I asked what the extra chargewas for the large. He said he would make it and be back. When he cam back, it was another medium half full. I told him Irequested a large and even though my daughter originally ordered the large, I would pay the difference. He got angry and toldmy daughter to throw out the medium and the large would be an additional 80 cents. I told him make the large and I would be backin a minute with the change. This is an outdoor window. People were lining up. I got the change and came back to the window. He got angry and said he would not help without my mask on. I didn't think about the mask because I just came out to help. I putthe change on the counter and I ran to get my mask. When I got back to the window the change was still there. The employee askedwhat my daughter did with the other milkshake. When I told him he told her to throw it out, he very angrily passed me the newshake. No employee of any establishment has the right to treat anyone as he did, especially not a child. He was rude to herand to me. He does not keep proper records. This is obvious since he could not provide a receipt. Maybe CRA needs toinvestigate this location. He definitely needs anger management. Further training needs to happen. We will no longer gothere. If I could give it zero stars I would. Read more
