This is a place to stop and eat. It has a little of everything. I didnt hear any complaints from my co workers about their food.... I had the breakfast sandwich which was very delicious and the onion rings were fried ON POINT!! Very very good. We shared thenachos and those were good too. The place is very unique with a bar in the center and tables all around. The staff was verypolite and kept us well hydrated. Cant ask for anything more. We went for nachos and drinks on their patio. All the staff were friendly from the phone call prior to arrival (to ask if there... was seating available outside) until the end of our visit. The nachos were pretty yummy (good crunch and a generous amount ofcheese). The only constructive criticism is that there was too much ice and no enough drink for my zero proof cocktail. Read more

This... place's previous home was a great watering hole spot and the LOCAL group has just uplifted it. Its the place it is located thatfeels like its our own. Its a good vibe and its a good service. One thing that Winnipeg is sleeping on is BRUNCH at the local,their mimosa and beermosa and brunch drinks are yummy and their food is amazing. Just such a good good quality food and theirservice matches the food. We loved our brunch here also because we were the only ones there at the time(mostly because peopledidnt know about their brunch or they were drinking the night before there and didnt make it) it was calming for us to not be inbetween too many people but also a bit sad because everyone is just sleeping on them. Fantastic service. I phoned in and was greeted politely. Me and my daughter (Gluten free) sat inside and had nachos, the server... was very pleasant, and the chef brought out the nachos to our table; half the nachos were spicy, the other half was not. Had a nice evening here on Tuesday. Every staff member we interacted with (dropping of drinks/food, touching base, etc) was... incredibly attentive, friendly, and warm. The food was great, and the cocktails were good. Only thing is the food menu is prettypared down, especially if you don't eat meat. Read more
